Fluorometholone
Indications/Uses
Steroid-responsive inflammation of the palpebral & bulbar conjunctiva, corneal & anterior segment of the globe.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Instill 1-2 drops into the conjunctival sac bd-qds. May be increased to 2 drops every hr during the initial 24-48 hr.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Acute superficial herpes simplex keratitis. Fungal diseases of ocular structures. Vaccinia, varicella & most other viral diseases of the cornea & conjunctiva. Mycobacterial infection (eg, TB of the eye).
