Diltiazem HCl

Indications/Uses

Angina pectoris, variant angina. Herbesser 90 SR HTN. Herbesser R100/Herbesser R200 Mild to moderate essential HTN.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Herbesser 90 SR Adult 1 cap bd. Herbesser R100/Herbesser R200 Adult Mild to moderate essential HTN 100-200 mg once daily. Angina pectoris, variant angina 100 mg once daily. May be increased to 200 mg once daily if effect is insufficient.

Administration

May be taken with or without food: Swallow whole, do not chew/crush.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. 2nd & 3rd degree AV or SA block, sick sinus syndrome. Pregnancy. Herbesser 90 SR Hypotension (<90 mmHg systolic), acute MI & pulmonary congestion. Herbesser R100/Herbesser R200 Severe congestive heart cardiac failure. Patients receiving ivabradine HCl.
