Hypersensitivity. Severe, rarely fatal, anaphylactic-like reactions to NSAIDs. Not to be given in patients who have experienced asthma, urticaria or allergic-type reactions after taking aspirin or other NSAIDs. Patients w/ active PUD, recent GI bleeding or perforation & history of PUD or GI bleeding. Prophylactic analgesic before any major surgery. CABG surgery. Patients w/ advanced renal impairment or those at risk for renal failure due to vol depletion. Intra-op when hemostasis is critical because of increased bleeding risk. Patients w/ suspected or confirmed cerebrovascular bleeding, hemorrhagic diathesis, incomplete hemostasis & those at high bleeding risk. Patients currently receiving aspirin or NSAIDs. Concomitant use w/ probenecid & pentoxifylline. Neuraxial (epidural or intrathecal) administration due to alcohol content. Labor & delivery. Lactation.
