Paracetamol

Indications/Uses

Relief of fever & pain associated w/ headache, teething, toothache, earache, immunization, cold & flu symptoms.

Dosage/Direction for Use

120 mg/5 mL Childn ≥1 mth 10-15 mg/kg, weighing 16-17 kg 10 mL, 14-15 kg 8.5 mL, 12-13 kg 7.5 mL, 10-11 kg 6 mL, 8-9 kg 5 mL, 6-7 kg 3.5 mL, 4-5 kg 2.5 mL. Max: 4 doses in any 24-hr period. Do not repeat more frequently than every 4 hr. 250 mg/5 mL Childn 1-12 yr 10-15 mg/kg, weighing 40-42 kg 12 mL, 34-39 kg 10 mL, 30-33 kg 9 mL, 27-29 kg 8 mL, 24-26 kg 7 mL, 20-23 kg 6 mL, 17-19 kg 5 mL, 14-16 kg 4 mL, 12-13 kg 3 mL. Max: 4 doses in any 24-hr period. Do not repeat more frequently than every 4 hr.

Administration

May be taken with or without food.
