Pantoprazole Na sesquihydrate

Indications/Uses

Short-term use in adults for symptomatic improvement & healing of GI diseases requiring acid secretion reduction eg, moderate & severe reflux oesophagitis & gastric & duodenal ulcer.

Dosage/Direction for Use

IV Doses should be administered over 2-15 min & up to 7 days. Gastric & duodenal ulcer, moderate & severe reflux oesophagitis 40 mg daily. Severe hepatic impairment Max: 20 mg daily.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to pantoprazole or substituted benzimidazoles.
