Trimetazidine diHCl
Indications/Uses
Add-on therapy for the symptomatic treatment of patients w/ stable angina pectoris who are inadequately controlled by or intolerant to 1st-line antianginal therapies.
Dosage/Direction for Use
35 mg bd (ie, once in the morning & once in the evening during meal). Patient w/ moderate renal impairment (CrCl 30-60 mL/min) & elderly 35 mg in the morning during breakfast.
Administration
Should be taken with food.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity. Parkinson disease, parkinsonian symptoms, tremors, restless leg syndrome & other related movement disorders. Severe renal impairment (CrCl <30 mL/min).
