KCl
Dosage/Direction for Use
Diluted to about 0.3%. Usual parenteral dose: 1-3 g.
Contraindications
Untreated Addison's disease, acute dehydration, heat cramps, hyperkalemia, adynamia episodica hereditaria. Renal impairment w/ oliguria, anuria or azotemia.
Special Precautions
Not to be used w/out dilution. Excessive doses can cause K intoxicity. Arrhythmia heart depression or weak heart. Soln should not be used when not clear, containers & caps are damaged.
Drug Interactions
May increase hyperkalemia w/ spironolactone & triamterene.
