Gentamicin sulfate

Indications/Uses

Primary & secondary skin infections due to gentamicin-susceptible bacteria.

Dosage/Direction for Use

Apply thinly over the infected area 3-4 times daily.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity. Viral & fungal infections.

Special Precautions

Not for prophylaxis & ophth use. Discontinue therapy if irritation or hypersensitivity occurs. Overgrowth of non-sensitive organisms. Extensive use, particularly over prolonged therapy or in the presence of concomitant skin disorders. Infant & childn.

Adverse Reactions

Erythema, pruritus, photosensitization.
