Contents
Neomycin sulfate, fluocinolone acetonide.
Description
Each gram cream contains: Neomycin sulfate 5 mg, fluocinolone acetonide 0.25 mg.
Action
NEOSINOL contains Neomycin sulfate which has antibacterial activity. Fluocinolone acetonide acts as antiinflammatory, antiallergy and antipruritic agent.
Indications/Uses
Management of dermatitis caused by Neomycin-susceptable microorganisms or existing secondary infection e.g. pruritus, eczema, intertrigo, psoriasis.
Dosage/Direction for Use
Apply a small quantity of cream, 2-3 times a day to the affected area and rub gently until it evenly covered.
Contraindications
Patients who are hypersensitive to any component of this drug.
Special Precautions
Avoid ophthalmic use.
Avoid extensive or prolonged use in pregnancy.
Topical use of Neomycin in long-term and large amounts applied should be avoided to prevent existing of nonsusceptible microorganisms.
If superinfections occur during treatment, the appropriate therapy should be given.
If irritations occur, discontinue the treatment.
If signs of secondary infections are not likely to occur, the culture should be made previously.
Adverse Reactions
Skin irritation like itching and burning sensation, may occasionally occur. In prolonged therapy with preparations containing corticosteroid may cause hypopigmentation, skin atrophy and striae.
Storage
Store below 25°C.
Protect from light.
Do not freeze.
