Xylocaine Injection Description

The active ingredient in XYLOCAINE is lidocaine (lignocaine) hydrochloride. Lidocaine is the new medicine ingredient name for lignocaine and is mostly used in this product information.

Lidocaine is classed as a membrane stabilising agent and is a local anaesthetic of the amide type.
