Indications/Uses
Skin infection due to Staph or other fusidic acid-susceptible bacteria eg, impetigo contagiosa, superficial folliculitis, furunculosis, sycosis barbae, hidradenitis axillaris, abscess, paronychia, erythrasma.

Dosage/Direction for Use
Adult & child
Open lesion
Apply 3-4 times daily.
Closed lesion
Apply more frequent. Duration of therapy: Approx 7 days.

Hypersensitivity. Infection due to nonsensitive organism against fusidic acid especially

Special Precautions
Avoid contact w/ eyes. May increase the risk of sensitization & bacterial resistance. Avoid use during the last mth of pregnancy. May cause kernicterus in babies during the 1st mth of age.
